Tinted transparent t-tops
SS hood from SLP (with air scoop) installed

New brakes on all 4 wheels (installed Memorial Day weekend 2011)
Tires are at about 65% tread remaining. Extra set of tires comes with the car (about 50% tread left on extra set)
Recently passed CT emissions test
Known Issues:
Body damage on passenger side. Previous owner side swiped a guard rail, scuffs on passenger side door and small dent in quarter panel.
EVAP canister needs replaced, and it is causing a diagnostic trouble code of P1441, does not affect performance of car - emissions issue only.
ABS sensor needs replaced. The ABS INOP light will occasionally illuminate, although the traction control / ABS system itself works fine.
I purchased this vehicle with the intention of fixing it up and using it for a weekend / summer fun car with a lot of pep. However, I recently got engaged, and the Camaro is the toy that I decided to relinquish in order to help pay for our wedding. The previous owner put a lot of money and work into this car, and I have receipts for the new engine and tranny rebuild. From checking CarFax when I bought the car, the vehicle was in an accident in 2002 and declared a total loss, but the owner chose to keep the car and repair it. The state of CT inspected the car after the repairs were complete, and only then issued a title for the car. In CT, if you choose to repair a total loss car, it must be inspected by the state before they will allow it to be titled and considered "road worthy." I have the title in hand along with the CT emission certificate, and so the car is ready to be transferred to it new owner and registered without hassle. |
