Car Notes |
2010.11.02 Ebay
Manteno, Illinois
This is the real deal SLP Z28 SS Camaro Car # 1411. 5.7
liter LT1/6 speed manual trans. 34660 miles on car. Highly optioned – leather seats,
t-tops, power windows and locks, remote keyless entry, Delco/Bose sound system,
A/C, cruise control, tilt steering, CD player. I have a photo of the door tag
with all the option codes if you want to see it
This is a really clean car that has lots of potential. Very
low miles on this car.I just don’t have the time to finish it. I had paid
someone to finish the car and it didn’t happen so it’s time to move on.
Car does not run at present. I know it needs a battery, knock
sensor, exhaust clamps, Longer pushrods,
the engine wiring needs to be finished up, the front brake lines need to be
modified because of the tubular k-member, front bumper cover needs to be
painted and one of the bolts for the alternator is missing. I don’t want to
make the car sound bad but I am over critical of any flaws that I find. Everyone
who sees the car tells me how nice it is.
Body:
The paint has a few nicks/scratches but nothing major. There
is a ding in the passenger side rear but it is so small it wouldn’t show up in
the pictures. The front bumper cover is
brand new GM and will need to be painted to match the car. The previous owner
tore a hole in the original while removing the engine and trans. I also have
new emblems for the bumper cover that go with the car.
Interior:
Interior color is black with black leather. The drivers side
front seat shows some wear on the outside bolster from getting in and out of
the car. The rest of the inside is in excellent condition.
Suspension:
Car has all tubular suspension. Pro-fab tubular k-member up front and! Spohn panhard bar and
lower control arms in the rear. Upgraded swaybars with poly bushings front and
rear. Edelbrock torque arm. Eibach springs and Level 2 Bilstein struts and
shocks. 17x9 SS wheels with good Dunlop 275/40R17 tires. 3.42 rearend with SLP
installed Torsen torque sensing differential and aluminum cover. Also included
but not installed is a set of brand new SLP bolt in subframe connectors and a
set of wheel lugs and caps from SLP.
Engine :
350 LT1 engine with AFR LT4 aluminum heads with screw in
studs and guide plates, GMPP LT4 intake,
BBK 1000 cfm 58 mm throttle body, GM performance parts Hot Cam and roller lifters,
Pacesetter ceramic coated long tube headers and off road y-pipe, SLP exhaust, MSD
coil, New GM optispark module and cap & rotor, underdrive pulleys, GMPP 1.6
roller rockers and new Spec clutch and pressure plate. I also installed the LT4
Knock module in the PCM.
I’m sure that I am forgetting some of the other parts that
are on this car. I think the car looks better in person than in the pictures. I
have a folder full of receipts and the original owner’s manual. If you would
like to come and look at the car or have any questions please contact me at
815-546-XXXX. I have lots of other photos so feel free to ask for more
pictures. A $300 deposit via paypal is
expected within 24 hours of the auction ending. The balance is due upon pick up
with cash or certified check. This car will need to be picked up at my home in
Manteno,IL 60950. I am 50 miles South of Chicago,IL. Shipping charges are NOT
included in this auction. I will do what I can to help with shipping if needed,
but buyer must make all arrangements. |
