rockville, MD The WS6 was first produced in 1996. Pontiac told me that only 524 Formula WS6's were built that first year. Mine is one of only 52 Black A4 (Automatic 4 speed) built. I bought the car in June 2002 with 59,000 miles. I've added less than 20,000 to that since. About 2500 per year. Yes she's been babied. Under the hood is the LT1 motor used in the Corvette. The air filter on the ram air intake is a washable K & M racing filter. The red bar is a torsion bar to keep the car from twisting as it rockets off the start line. Underneath are Eibach race springs, which lower the car 2" & sub frame connectors to strengthen the chassis as well. Under the dashboard you connect the Hypertech computer to dial in the engine tune for street or track tune. Exhaust system is cast iron Free Flow exhaust. This bird is not your standard Firebird, rightout ofthe factory & she sounds like a Harley! It's a great "F-body" investment car as it is sure to rise in value & become one of tomorrow's classics |
