Car Notes |
2009.01.8 Ebay
New Bern, NC, United States
You are looking at a 2000 Camaro SS. Yes it is a real WU8, no clone.
The good:
Strong LS-1.
It is an automatic: shifts great.
Black/dark graphite leather interior: slight wear on drivers seat (shown in picture).
74,416 actual mileage: It is not being driven but mileage will change depending on where it gets shipped from.
The rims are JDM replicas of ZR-1's and have been powder coated black.
Dynatech LT headers, K&N drop in, Granatelli airlid, Hi-Flo cats, "New-ish" spark plugs and wires (all 8), tires are Evo-Z's with approximately 60% treadlife, tinted windows, New window motors (installed by Chevrolet dealer) and Dyno tuned to 326 rwhp and 333 rwtq.
T-Tops do not leak.
The bad:
Has a "check engine" light for O2 sensor.
Has no floor mats. Did not come with any and will not leave with any.
Carpet needs to be cleaned. Only minor stains.
Intermittent rear pinion seal leak (common problem with these 10 bolts) but it has been replaced and is currently not leaking.
Has no exhaust from cats back. Sounds wicked but still......
The Ugly:
The car needs a paint job. It is a "10 footer" for sure. I have tried to show the main problem areas in the photos. The nose cone has a large patch, 6" ?, of paint flaked off. Several knicks and scratch's all the way around. The passenger side rear quarter panel had a run in with a shopping cart and has 3 dime sized dents/dings. Not horrible but not to my liking. The "T Bar" paint has several tiny bubbles. I have looked on the Internet and found that it was a common problem for the Camaro due to paint issues at the factory. Again, the car will need a paint job. |
