Floyds Knobs, IN, United States I bought this vehicle for the purpose of reselling it on Ebay. I have a high school friend who owns an auto dealership in Ky. He allows me to check out his lease turn ins and trade ins for this purpose. When I find a vehicle that I want, I have it checked out mechanically. If it needs only minor repair I buy the vehicle and have the service done. This Trans Am needs some work that I chose not to do in the interest of being able to sell the car for a cheaper, more reasonable price. The service issues are as follows: the driver's side power window does not work, the passenger side power window is very slow going up and down, and one motor mount needs replacing. The car runs and drives good. The engine(5.7 liter v8) and transmission(automatic) preform as expected with no unusual noises, leaks, or smoking from either, warm or cold. The car is equipped with the WS-6 performance package, Ram air induction package, 17" chrome wheels, t-tops, power windows, power locks, power steering, power brakes, tilt steering wheel, cruise control, am/fm stereo with CD, leather seats, and power mirrors. The interior of the car is in good shape with the exception of the passenger side power window and power lock switch panel is loose from the door panel. The exterior of the car has some faded paint and clear coat on the following areas: the hood, tops of both fenders, top of the driver's door, top of driver's quarter panel, and both front and rear bumpers(I tried to show this in the pics). The tires need to be replaced as they are less than 50%. I do not know any of the previous history of this car, but if any one is interested, I believe that Carfax or Autocheck maybe able to help with that. |
