2008.09.5 Ebay
Canon City, CO, United States
Here is your opportunity to own a ne of a kind 2000 Camaro Z28 with over $10,000 in extras. It has been modified to resemble an SS, but be more than an SS ever could think of being! This Z28 comes with a 5.7L V8 engine and an automatic Yank converted transmission with a MoMo shifter. At a time when gas prices are astronomical, this Camaro gets over 25 miles per gallon! Some of the additional options are:
- 19-inch Mile Miglia racing wheels
- Diablo Performance Chipped and Programmed
- Ram Air cold air intake
- Magna Flow exhaust
- Front/rear Bear Claw brakes
- Billstein racing suspension
- Fog lamps
- Rear spoiler
- Xenon style lighting
- Leather seating
- MoMo racing steering wheel
- power windows, locks, mirrors & driver's seat
- T-Tops (and they don't leak!)
- Traction control
- CD player & AM/FM stereo
- Cold air conditioning
- Anti-lock brakes
- Automatic transmission
- Recently replaced tires (95% tread left - less than 1500 miles on them)
It has just under 79,000 actual miles and can be driven anywhere with confidence. Carfax or Autocheck reports will verify that it has never been in an accident. It shifts quickly and responsively and the engine has a very throaty rumble. The interior is still in very good shape with no cracks in the dash and the leather seats are still very nice. If you are a collector of muscle cars, or someone who appreciates a well built sports care, then you should not pass this Camaro up. It will tame other SS Camaros or Corvettes that roll up next to you.
Some of the clear coat is coming off of the rear spoiler, but other than that, the body and paint are in really good condition. It also needs a new starter switch ($12.00-$22.00 depending on brand). Don't get me wrong, the Camaro starts great and I've never had a problem with that, but the ignition switch also controls the radio and window motors. There's a bad connection in it, so periodically the radio and window motors won't work. The driver's side window motor also needs replaced. It runs very slow and needs help.
Also, because the MoMo Racing steering wheel was installed the driver's side air bag and cruise control were disconnected. I have the original steering wheel with the airbag deployment unit which houses the wiring for the cruise control as well. The unit has NOT been deployed. Lastly, the windshield washer unit was removed before I ever got the vehicle. I will provide the washer reservoir, the original steering wheel, and the airbag deployment unit with the car only IF the Camaro sells for at least $12,000. |
