Car Notes |
2008.08.14 Ebay
El Paso, TX, United States
Exterior: Stock paint job (Light pewter metallic), high level- rear spoiler, fog lights and remote keyless entry with alarm. Lightweight, lockable and easily removed T-Tops with deep tinted roof panels and detachable sunshades. SS Grille, P275/40ZR-17 Goodyear Eagle F1 tires with Lightweight 17-inch aluminum SS rims, and four-wheel disc brakes with ABS. Body kit has been added and windows have the darkest "legal" tint possible, or at least a cop has never complained about it! On the front passenger side the bottom of the body kit has gotten scuffed a bit, but it is hardly noticeable and there is a 2"x4" area on the back passenger side that has a few scuffs that everyone says I am imagining. Point being, no one else really can see them either.
Interior: Ebony leather seating surfaces and steering wheel with duplicate radio controls, Power door locks, windows, trunk/hatch release, six way power driver seat and twin electric sport mirrors. SLP "Camaro SS" floor mats are included as well as the matching car cover. Leather has been constantly maintained with Armor All and only the drivers seat has a few cracks and the right side where the driver enters and exits the car.
Sound System: Monsoon 500 watt premium system with stereo radio, disc player and a 12 disc CD changer that is located in the rear of the car. A splitter was added to the auxiliary connection from the 12 disc changer in order to have an IPOD connection as well! (That will be the small button you see by the emergency break and the connection you see sticking out from under air control) A customized base box has been added to the well of the trunk that holds two 10" subwoofers and an "Dual" 460 watt amplifier. It is coming with all its cables and connections, is fully functional and OH MY GOD ITS HOT! This will be one of the things I miss the most!
Engine: 5.7 Liter Corvette-derived LS1 V8 engine with forced-air induction that pumps out 325 hp @ 5200 rpm. Four speed automatic transmission with center mounted dual exhaust. I added a Super 44 two chamber Flowmaster muffler and a K&N air filter that will come with its recharger kit. The additions have pushed up the hp to 350 and you can feel it! I used to have a Z28 and there is no comparison between that and this monster!
So, I never raced "La Bestia", which is her name and means the Beast in Spanish. I just pampered and showed her off and appreciated her for the beautiful representation of American muscle that she was. I am moving out of the country though, to work, and need to pass her onto someone who will love and appreciate her as much as I did because I have no where I can leave her. I have the maintenance documentation going as far back as 2004 that was collected from her previous owner and myself and will send that with the car. She has only been given synthetic oil, and full injector cleaner monthly. You may need to give her a tune-up though since it is recommended every 50,000 miles. |
