Car Notes |
2007.09.17 ebay
1998 LS1 Camaro SS #735 with T-tops. I am the second owner and have owned this car since 2000. Still under 27,000 miles, as I've only driven it on weekends and I was in New York for previous 6 years so didn't drive it in the winter. I have taken very good care of this car, I do have a timeslip from back in 2001 running 11.95 @ 117. I had a best of 11.6 NA, never ran on the nitrous. Havent been to the track in 4 years either. Also have a huge envelope of atleast 75% of all the RECEIPTS of mods ive done to the car.
Fresh Inspection just one month ago :)
Modifications:
Stage 2 Heads
MTI C1 Hammer Cam
Moser 12 Bolt rearend with 3.73 gears
Mac Headers
NOS 5177 Kit Bottle mounted in spare tire well
Bottle heater & Opener & Purge & lots of jet sizes
LS6 Intake
Very nice custom X-pipe, drops below back of front seats. No cats/mufflers. Has Bullets ( i call them cats for inspection purposes). Very loud. Can be taken off in 5 mins for track

BMR lower control arms

AutoTap-Diagnostic software allows you to read all sensors to program LS1 Edit
Yank UT4200 Torque Converter
FLP Level 4 Transmission WITH an Oil Cooler
SLP Line lock (mounted to the center console)
Custom PCV valve system to eliminate oil blowback. Not pictured, just installed yesterday. Email if you would like a pic, it is very pretty haha
Custom sub enclosure formed to the rear hatch with 2 MTX subs and an Orion Amp.
Stock SS hood but I put Pins in the front, so no more hood release.
Custom front grille
Smoke Tail brake covers
Lowered about 1"
Power window fix: Known issue of chevrolet power window design. I bought off someone who added a more powerful relay to fix the slowness and inevitable dying of the window motors.
Weight Removal: No front or rear bumper supports, No AC, No Heat (where nitrous switches are now). No wipers or wiper reservoir, No EGR, No AIR (both blacked off), No cats, no mufflers (extremely loud :)), no sound deadening under carpet, cruise control is off but i stll have it, same with windshield wiper motor. No passenger air bag, Driver side was just re-installed but not hooked up.
I'm sure there is other mods but I havent been into the whole car thing in about 4 years because of deployments and stuff so I cant remember.
Issues: Obviously from modding a car there will be defects like lack of AC now, removed heater core. Has a nice CD player, but again no AC/Heat controls b/c i installed the nitrous stuff there. Had a roll cage, but removed so theres holes in the carpet and floor (silicon). something hit the front right bumper in along the wheel well liner and took a bit of paint off. Not too noticeable. Other than that the paint is awesome. ALWAYS garage kept. Has 18" rims in rear and 17"s in front with tires about 1500 miles on them, the are corvette C5 rims. The leather is still in awesome condition as is the rest of the interior. I never even had passengers in it rarely haha. Well over $25k invested over what i paid for it. But now have a new motorcycle and two other cars. |
